Your customers and clients are only going to give you money under one circumstance - IF THEY BELIEVE YOU CAN ACTUALLY HELP THEM.
That’s the ONLY reason they would GIVE YOU MONEY.
They have a PROBLEM.
They need the problem FIXED.
They believe YOU WILL HELP THEM fix the problem.
And there are three ways to communicate to someone that you can help them.
1) TELL THEM YOU CAN HELP THEM
This can work, but it is the least effective method. Can you say, “Me too!”? ;)
2) HAVE OTHER PEOPLE TELL THEM YOU CAN HELP
One great way to do this is through the proper use of TESTIMONIALS or SOCIAL PROOF.
This can be very powerful.
But there is one last way that is even MORE POWERFUL than social proof.
3) ACTUALLY HELP THEM
I know.
It’s a bit of a crazy idea.
CONVINCE PEOPLE YOU CAN HELP THEM - BY ACTUALLY HELPING THEM?
